Baby Shower

Yesterday the girls at work threw me a baby shower and it was so much fun! I love them. It is so nice to be surrounded by people who care so much. I got so many cute clothes. Kayla has quite the stylish little wardrobe starting. I am so excited to have a girl!

Jaxton's 1st trip to the dentist

Jaxton had his first visit to the dentist this morning. He is getting so big, way too fast! He was such a good boy. I wasn't sure how he would react but he had so much fun. They let him touch all the tools before they used them so he wouldn't be scared and, if he could've, he would have taken home the little thing that shoots water into your mouth. He has a clean bill of dental health. Here are some pictures of the little guy.

So my doctor is seeing me every two weeks now and I am getting more and more anxious to have the baby. Everything seems to be good so far and next time he sees me he's going to start checking if I'm dialated...one step closer to having baby Kayla...I'm so excited! I had an appt. with him yesterday and he had a student following him. They checked to see if the baby's head was down, so Dr. Rappleye made sure the student knew what he was feeling for and they let me and Mitch feel the head. It was amazing! I'm not due til May 3rd and it feels like the time is just dragging. I guess I shouldn't be in such a hurry though. Mitch tells me all the time that I should just take the time and enjoy it. He's probably right since this is our last one. Plus, once I have Kayla, I can never go back to it just being us and Jaxton. I should savor the moments while they last.

Mitch's trip to California

So Mitch is finally home and everything is settling back in to normal. We all missed him. I think Jaxton missed him the most. He has been clinging to him like crazy over the last few days. It's cute.

Mitch had lots of fun... Lots of work, but lots of fun. He went seashell hunting for the first time and the area he was in was beautiful. He has now decided he wants to move to the coast. I would be o.k. with it, depending where we were, and if I could talk myself out of being afraid of earthquakes. I don't know, I guess we'll see. That's not for another few years, at least.
